It's become ...I'm a lifelong Cardinal fan. It's become increasingly obvious that Pujols wants to be paid what he's worth, and I don't fault him for that. It's also become increasingly obvious that the Cardinals don't have the budget to pay him 90% of what he's worth and field a winning team.

That being said, it's more important to me to see the Cardinals field a winning team than to see Albert Pujols continue to march to the HOF in a Cardinal uniform. Therefore, I will hope against hope that the Cardinals can work something out with him before he signs elsewhere. But I will enjoy what I know might be his last year in a Cardinal uniform and jump all over anybody that calls him greedy for simply asking for what he's worth.MMayeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09893007769493689849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31467474.post-54335019110604709512011-02-16T10:18:09.537-08:002011-02-16T10:18:09.537-08:00Nope... not even for that.

No, ...Would I boo him because he didn't resign? No, it's a free country. But I WILL boo him because he turned down $200 million+. I will boo him long and hard for that.Justin McLeodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01841690749406744083noreply@blogger.com
