The BBWAA are making a lot of mistakes keeping great MLB players out of the hall for several stupid and non-sense reasons. Just to mention a few, the DH case, the Coors Field stadium and the alleged "suspicious" of some players using PEDs, that is so non-sense.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31467474.post-64977281505204024792012-02-12T16:13:50.660-08:002012-02-12T16:13:50.660-08:00The Astros went to the World Series after he left....The Astros went to the World Series after he left.

FYISullyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10272557466790129869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31467474.post-50458301255806190542012-02-12T16:09:50.035-08:002012-02-12T16:09:50.035-08:00Are you kidding me only in one case did the team d...Are you kidding me only in one case did the team do better while he was gone the giants woul have never been as good with out him and his fielding stats are higher than half of the second basemen in the hall of fameAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31467474.post-78745277917296976072009-01-26T20:24:00.000-08:002009-01-26T20:24:00.000-08:00I dunno. He and others like him are the best reason we have the five year waiting period.LargeBillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13231452147187641675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31467474.post-72704792401549394952009-01-24T18:11:00.000-08:002009-01-24T18:11:00.000-08:00Are you kidding me? He should be a Hall of Famer, ...Are you kidding me? He should be a Hall of Famer, regardless of his shitty attitude. Ty Cobb's in the Hall and he was a major A-hole. Kent is the all-time leading home run hitter among second basemen with 351, which is 74 more than the next closest, Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg. He also retired with a .290 batting average, 1,515 RBIs, 560 doubles and a .500 slugging percentage. Those numbers alone, especially the HRs should get him in. I was never a fan of his, but give credit where credit is due!Junior75https://www.blogger.com/profile/08534438735929625650noreply@blogger.com
