The Mariners will have to cough up the #12 overall pick to sign Lohse.
ReplyDeleteI listen to your show every single day and love your podcast. This one kind of fell on its face from the beginning, however. The Mariners would give up the #12 overall pick if they signed Lohse. Not sure where you got the idea that they would only have to give up a 3rd rounder. The new draft pick compensation rules really aren't that tricky. Not to harp on you, just want to make sure you keep your content top notch. Keep up the good work, Sully!
