I think we got away with one
I think the Red Sox hit into a triple play and Beltre was called safe. He looked out with the naked eye and I couldn't tell either way...
Check the replay, He was safe. He did overrun the bag so if the first baseman stayed with the play he could have tagged Beltran out the Angels would have had the triple play. of course Beltran hit a HR in the 8th for the Bosox insurance run (they won 3-1)

ReplyDeleteIf Morales wasn't basically congratulating himself after catching the throw and stayed with Beltre, he would have tagged him out for the TP.
