I'm not happy about this

You see, usually the season starts off with the Red Sox playing hot... and winning a bunch of games against the Yankees.

Then in the summer the Yankees get hot and smack the Red Sox around.

I don't like this "Yankees winning two out of three at Fenway" garbage. Especially when the Sox let Chan Ho Freaking PARK throw 3 shutout innings at them when an extra base hit in the 10th would have won the game and the series.

3 games in and 1 dodged bullet and three teeth grinders.
I can't survive at this pace!

April 4 - 9-7 win against Yankees (On Opening Night, the Red Sox overcome a 5-1 Yankee lead with a game tying HR by Pedroia and a go ahead passed ball.)

April 6 - 6-4 loss against the Yankees. (Scutaro's error leads to the winning run.)
April 7 - 3-1 loss against the Yankees. (Sox leave the winning run on in the 9th only to lose on Granderson's 10th inning homer)

-1 for the year.
With a wasted John Lackey performance no less.

Let's hope a trip to Kansas City adds a few wins to the ledger.

  1. Try not to worry too much, while it WAS the Yankees, the Red Sox started pretty much the same last year against the Rays, and had a 2-6 record after their first 8 games.

  2. Cowherd Just Called you out on Sportsnation about that Photo with the Yankee Photo. He said he wished it was real just to get you going.
