How can the Red Sox expect to score against a legend like Josh Tomlin?
Seriously, it's not fair. How can the Sox line up, a rag tag bunch of misfits, possibly get MORE than a run when Cy Young favorite Josh Tomlin is on the hill?
No wonder they sent J. D. Drew to the plate when he was thrown out. Runs are at a PREMIUM when Tomlin is on the hill.
The only question is will he win 30 games this year.
No shame in being completely shut down by him. It's like facing Maddux in his prime. It is to be expected.
You know, considering Tomlin might actually win the Cy Young this year, you could be considered psychic! Better than being considered stupid, I suppose.

ReplyDeleteOh I've been called worse than stupid.
ReplyDeleteIf you had Josh Tomlin as a Cy Young contender as a pre season prediction, I'll give you $100,000
