Hey Dumb Ass Rangers Fan...

Did you REALLY think that nobody would catch you throwing that Wiffle Ball onto the field?
You DO know the game is televised with a crap load of cameras, right?

Oh Texans you ARE new to baseball, aren't you?

I hope we never find out this chumps name.
His 15 minutes of fame are up.
But his night in jail isn't.

  1. I love reading your blog, but I have to take exception with your "Oh Texans you ARE new to baseball, aren't you?" line. This idiot in the stands is NOT representative of the rest of us, as you could probably tell when everyone else in the stands started booing him as he was being escorted out.

I am a proud, lifelong Rangers fan, and even I was shuddering when I saw a projectile coming onto the field, courtesy of an idiot Rangers 'fan' in Arlington.

  2. We're "new"? Unlike Marlins, D-Backs, Rays, Rockies, Royals, Brewers, Angels, Astros, Mets, Padres, Nationals, and Blue Jays (all franchises that are the same age or younger) fans? Really?

The guy was an idiot and should never be allowed into The Ballpark in Arlington again. Ever. Period.

More established teams like the Phillies should be glad that their fans don't do stuff like this. I mean this is comparable to intentionally throwing up on a fellow fan.

The Braves should heave a sigh of relief that this kind of thing doesn't happen at Turner field. I mean, this guy could have run onto the field in a wedding dress for his next act.

I bet the Yankees are glad this guy wasn't in their fanbase spitting on opposing player's families and throwing beer at them as a follow-up.

I think the more experienced Cubs fans could give us "new" Rangers fans a lesson in how to deal with a fellow fan who misbehaves. After all, they handled Steve Bartman with class didn't they?

Maybe the guy should have taken advice from Pirates fans on how to deal with security when you are getting removed from the stands.

C'mon Sully. The guy was a jerk and deserved to be ejected from the stadium like he was. Unfortunately jerks are everywhere, not just in Texas or among "new" fans.

  3. I have to agree with BI and Spiff. You can't throw an entire fanbase under the bus because of one idiot. Every team, in every sport, has idiots show up and do stupid things from time to time.
