We're going streaking!

Remember when the Red Sox were 3 games under .500?
They had dropped 2 in Toronto and were heading to New York. They looked rudderless.

7 games later the Red Sox have 7 more wins and right now are the third best team in the American League and tied in the loss column with the first place Tampa Bay Rays.

And tonight was an old fashioned ass whuppin'. Even a subpar Lester performance couldn't damper the Sox spirits.

If the Sox win tomorrow and get a little help from the Marlins and Mets, they could be in first place by the end of tomorrow.

Imagine if I told you that was possible a week ago!

  1. Well, the left side of the infield decided to drop some balls tonight, and I don't mean in the Dick Clark type of way. They fell apart in the 8th, and looked like the team from week 1.

BTW, if *I* can watch the game and tell that Albers "didn't have it tonight" ... why can't Terry see that? Wait til they score 5, THEN think about warming someone up. That's managing for you.
