AAUGH!
We had Papelbon on the mound last night to take the division lead...
And 13 innings to take a lead before that 2 out 14th inning monstrosity.
And BANG!
What should have been a 1 1/2 game lead turns into a 2 1/2 deficit.
So much for No Prisoners.
OK folks... dust yourself off, tip your hats to the Rays and clinch the playoff spot and get our asses to October.
And hope Lucy doesn't pull the ball again.
