I needed a break from baseball

The 15 inning game the other day was a bit too much for me. I just needed to NOT watch baseball for a day.

While the Red Sox and Yankees played in the Bronx, I took my kids on the train to Memorial Park in Pasadena and played and spent time outside.

And later I ate dinner with my wife and cleaned up the house.

All the while having no clue what happened in the game.

This morning I found out the Red Sox lost 5-0.
They haven't scored in 24 innings.

And if I watched the game I would have been agitated and angry all day.
Instead I just shrugged when I saw the final score after having a nice day with my kids.

Today the insanity resumes... but a little distance was needed
