A silver lining for Giants fans
Hey! It wasn't a one run game!
They've had 6 post season games and the first 5 were one run games. At least with this one Giants fans don't have to grumble about that one play or that one bad break.
Yeah it was close most of the game... but 6-1 is 6-1.
The Giants got out of Philadelphia was a split. Move on.
Actually-- I do know a certain Giants fanatic that was grumbling about it being a one run game before the homer. And if there wasn't a pitching change, it might STILL have been a one run game. And then that second run would've tied it...
Giants fans sure sound like us Red Sox fans from the 1980s...
Yah, at least it wasnt some last inning loss. I had no plan on them winning this game, just come home with a split and thats just fine.
