The Red Sox = Bud Fox

There's a great moment in Wall Street when Hal Holbrook takes Charlie Sheen aside right before Sheen is going to be arrested.

He says to Charlie...

Man looks into the Abyss, and there's nothin' staring back at him. At that moment, man finds his character, and that's what keeps him out of the Abyss.

That's what the Red Sox are facing right now.

Not insider trading charges... that moment where they need to look into the abyss and find their character.

Do they fold or do they make a charge into the playoffs?

Yeah I know, I've seen them win the World Series twice this decade.
But I am greedy... and as Wall Street told us... greed is good!

  1. Well think of us "Long Suffering" Yankee fans who have not seen their team win a World Series since all the way back in the year 2000.
Heck we only have won the American League 39 times and only won 26 World Series, This is a tragedy of epic proportions.
For yankee haters the Yankees have lost the most world Series ever. 13 Times,

  2. I love when I see those little kids at Yankee Stadium, and I think, "They've never seen their team win a World Series in their lifetime."
