Happiness in Philadelphia?
The magic number for relief in Philadelphia is 4. It's been a quarter century since one of Philadelphia's teams has won a title...
There are 30 year olds who grew up passionate sports fans in Philadelphia who have never experienced the satisfaction of a championship season.
Now Mike Ferraro, co author of the great book Numbelievable and a big Phillies fan, thinks that an Eagles win would be the most satisfying of all for Philadelphia fans because they've never won a Super Bowl.
But I say after a quarter century you can't be picky.
I'm happy for Phillies fans today. Hopefully they can be happy for the next 24 hours.
