The drought is over.
All of Boston can exhale.
Utility man Bill Hall finally got his first hit as a member of the Red Sox. He was 0-10 before lining a single off of Rays pitcher Jeff Neimann.
I personally can't believe they didn't stop the game, set up a microphone and have Bill address the crowd.
No doubt the ball is on its way to Cooperstown.
If he gets one more hit, he will match his error total for the year.

ReplyDeleteSully, I do have the feeling that you bear a striking resemblance to Chief Inspector Dreyfuss at the moment, including pulsing forehead-vein, left-eye twitch, and telltale psycho-giggle.
ReplyDeleteI actually met Herbert Lom a few years ago; he's a hell of a guy, and looked quite fit for being around 97 years old.
I might have to look him up and see if he can get on the mound for your boys cause I've been told that his knuckler is unhittable.
