Who is in charge of Opening Day in Cincinnati?

Hey Reds organization... let me get this straight.
You have your annual parade before Opening Day and you have Frank Robinson, arguably the most talented player in the history of the Cincinnati Reds be the Grand Marshall.

Great choice!
Terrific!

Frank, one of the great forces on and off the field in baseball history, should be embraced in Cincy.

He's in uniform!
He's in the ballpark!

So he's throwing out the first pitch right?

NO!

Who could POSSIBLY be more worthy of that honor?

NICK LACHEY???

Really?
You snub the great Frank Robinson for the dude from 98 Degrees who couldn't make it work with Jessica Simpson?

Way to embrace your heritage.

I hear the Yankees were originally going to have Yogi Berra throw out the first pitch... but Nick Jonas suddenly became available. So he'll get the call.

Sorry Yogi.

  1. I was listening to the game on XM (another question about that below) and heard Marty Brennaman interview Frank during the game and at least admit the trade was the worst in Reds history.....

Sully -- I heard somebody named Sully from California calling XM's baseball channel today talking about being a Red Sox fan. Anybody we know?
